HP 1820-24G Switch J9980A SSL Configuration error
I am trying to setup a new HP 1820-24G Switch and I am unable to get a self generated SSL certificate to work connecting via https.I have following some documents however still not found a solution yet.
I get the following error wehen browsing to the https link:
Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://ipaddress again. If this error persists, it is possible that this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite such as RC4 (link for the details), which is not considered secure. Please contact your site administrator.
Any help would be appreciated.

I managed to resolve this myself by generating a certificate in the swtich software and then download it before comparing it to the certificate I generated using the EBJCA software in our lab. It turnes out the switch firmware doesn't like the following extensions:
X509v3 Key Usage: critical
Digital Signature, Key Encipherment
X509v3 Extended Key Usage:
TLS Web Server Authentication
X509v3 Subject Alternative Name:
To resolve I exluded the above and generated newone and hey presto it worked.

Works just fine on my 1920's.
The only two commands I have in there are:
ntp-service source-interface Vlan-interface100
ntp-service unicast-server n.n.n.n (ip adress of ntp server)
I notice you are using VLAN1 as the source address, can you ping the ip address of the VLAN1 interface on the switch from your NTP server at 10.1.1.59?

HPE OfficeConnect 1950 Switch Series QuickSpecs, exactly as its Datasheet, doesn't mention about VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) so VRF is simply not implemented on that type of Switch series.
It's highly probable that VRF (VPN Instance on HPE jargon) is a feature implemented starting on higher end models (like 5500 EI, 5500 HI, 5800, 5900, 5920, 5930, 10500 and so on...just to name a few).

A Supported Features Matrix is only published and updated - AFAIK - for ArubaOS-Switch based switch series (here), it's not available for Comware based series...so if you're looking for the VRF feature (VPN Instance) on Comware based Switch series you should look for it browsing each relevant Switch QuickSpecs/Datasheet or you should look for it by browsing an updated Technical Product Portfolio that, probably, summarizes supported features for Comware series.
