Hi network-king, thanks for your response.
I have tried the kill command but this seems to do nothing as I still cannot log in.

Hi,
I'm having the same issue. Did you ever figure this out? Many thanks!
Hi!
Yes, sure.
1) Enable HTTPS
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ovvXCvm5Z124wdLHnmmqSvr-j_jRMPft
2) Disable HTTP

3) The webface is innaccessible via https = lost the management.

Please write me back if it`s not clear.

Have a few 1920S in the network. Running PD.02.05. Disconected a physical link from the switch, but on the web GUI of the switch it still displays link as up.
That's too bad! Unfortunately, this switch has been deployed to a cabinet in a different state and I no longer have access. Once I find someone to work with, I will likely open a ticket with HP support and I'll let you know if I find anything worth noting.
Hi,
Somebody here has messed up the web management setup for one of our V1910 (probably altered management VLAN to other than VID 1). I have access to CLI and I need to know how to set the following from CLI:
Port 01 set to Untagged VID 1
Webinterface management VLAN set to VID 1
The CLI command ipsetup, does it set the webinterface management IP?
Thanks a LOT for help or comments on this
best regards Tor
hello
i have an hp 1910 series switch that is not working properly
the power led blinks and 4 ports have stable green light even thought no cable is connected
i update the firmware , reinitialized the swtch ( to factory settings ) and even disabled the ports but they are still green
what can i do ?
Use LACP (IEEE 802.3ad) on both sides: on HPE ProLiant 2-Ports NIC side, aggregate those two ports using LACP Load Balancing...on Switch side create a LAG with 2 interfaces and use LACP...only then connect two cables between formed LAGs. It should work flawlessly. Better bandwidth is achieved only if traffic to (or from) LACP peer is able to be distributed on both physical links and this depends on hashing algorithm results...these results, for each data flow, depend on various payload parameters (Source/Destination MAC Addresses, Source/Destination IP Addresses and/or Ports...depending on if Hashing happens at Layer 2, 3, or 4).
The company has a network of several switches (hp 1920s). All must connected by optics in the ring (sfs transceivers). If i close the ring - the network storm begins.
Please, tell me how to configure the ring in the web settings of the switch (setup a ring master or something like that).
I'm new.
Thanks.
i did what you told me .. link aggregation with LADP
on the server i chose the following , is this correct ? ping passes normally and i am able to access the server ( it shows 2 Gbps )
also i have a 1920 switch and a 1910 ( i can make both 1920 if i want ) .. to connect these i haveonly connected a regular cat6 cable between the two ..it works but can i get more out of them ?
hello
i have 2 switches (1920 and 1910) connected together via 1 cable only
i want to increase the throughput and redundancy by adding 2 cables .. what should i should on the switch ports ? LADP ?
You should enable spanning-tree on all the switches.
I came here to report the same thing. On a fresh switch straight out of the box. Upgraded to 2.05. Everything works fine. Upgrade to 2.06 and HTTPS breaks as soon as you disable HTTP. Unfortunately, I have 5 switches at other branches that I can't configure now (although SNMP still works). I'm hoping someone will post a way to roll back to the backup firmware without wiping the config.
Hello,
We are using two HPe 1820 switches.
There are multiple VLAN's configured on port 1 ( uplink ).
Also we have an managent vlan id ( 8 ), with no specific port connected.
Both switches have static IP's and we are able to use the webinterface to login.
After about a week or 2 none of both switches are reachable anymore on there static IP, but the rest is still working fine.
Does this happend to somebody else maybe?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Network King! :) what can you say? Do you succeed to reproduce this bug?
BTW I`ve tried to update 1820-48g with same version of the firmware with http disabled in configuration and after update I`ve lost the management to the switch, so I had to do factory reset.... When the version 2.07 will be released?
Regards
Can you please provide exact software version along with screenshot of the error and switch model JG9XX. As i could see 1920's run on comware 5 and the version should be something like 5.20. Release 1118.
Please use HPE OfficeConnect 1910 Switch Series User Guide
